This course enhanced my conversational fluency and written communication in academic and professional settings.

This course developed my professional business writing skills in Spanish, including reports, correspondence, and presentations.

This course introduced specialized vocabulary and skills for conducting business in Spanish-speaking markets.

This course further developed my ability to navigate professional business situations in Spanish, including negotiations and professional correspondence.

This course increased my cultural awareness and understanding of Latin American societies, history, and contemporary issues.

This course explored modern Spanish literature, improving advanced reading comprehension and critical analysis in Spanish.

PSYC 2010: Introduction to Psychology

Analysis of the biological bases of behavior, learning, thinking, motivation, perception, human development, social behavior, and the application of basic principles to more complex phenomena such as education, personal adjustment, and interpersonal relations.

PSYC 3060: Human Sexual Behavior

This course examines the biological, psychological, and sociocultural aspects of human sexuality.

​

PSYC 3830: Abnormal Psychology

I studied the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. Used current diagnostic standards for mental disorders as a framework for understanding the symptoms, causes, and treatments of the most commonly observed maladaptive behaviors.

AP Capstone Seminar and Research:

This two-year program was designed to develop critical thinking, research, writing, and presentation skills. In the first year (AP Seminar), I completed an individual research paper and presentation as well as a team project and presentation. In the second year (AP Research), I conducted a year-long study on the nutritional differences between hydroponically and soil-grown plants. After earning the highest possible score both years, I was awarded the AP Capstone Diploma.

​

ECON 2110: Principles of Microeconomics

Through this course, I developed a strong understanding of economic reasoning and its impact on consumer and business decisions. I examined competition, monopolies, international trade, and the role of public policies.

ECON 2120: Principles of Macroeconomics

As a continuation of ECON 2110, this course applied fundamental economic principles to aggregate economic performance. I studied inflation, unemployment, and economic growth, with particular emphasis on how fiscal and monetary policies influence financial markets and the broader economy.

ECON 3140: Intermediate Microeconomics

This course was an analytical study of basic and advanced concepts of value and distribution under alternative market conditions.

MGT 2010: Principles of Management

This course required strong time management skills and developed my ability to analyze management’s role as a key factor in economic production, applying concepts to real-world business scenarios.

MGT 3030: Global Business

This course examined the theoretical and institutional aspects of international business, covering topics such as exporting, importing, foreign investment, multinational corporations, and international payment systems, with an emphasis on cultural dimensions and developing cultural competence.

This course provided hands-on, real-world experience in management consulting, involving collaboration with professionals and applied problem-solving.

ELE 4060: Venture Consulting

This course refined advanced speaking and writing abilities, emphasizing idiomatic language and effective communication in diverse contexts.

This course explored advanced management consulting practices, including real-life projects, professional collaboration, travel, and experiential learning opportunities.

This course examined selected individual and group behavioral science concepts and applied them to understanding consumer decision-making.

This course studied marketing from an international perspective, focusing on how marketing strategies must be adapted for foreign markets due to environmental and cultural differences.

ACCT 2010: Financial Accounting Concepts

This course introduced managerial accounting, focusing on using accounting information to support business decision-making.

​

MATH 1020: Business Calculus I

This course introduced fundamental calculus concepts with an applied focus on business, economics, and management, covering functions, limits, derivatives, and basic integration.

​

MATH 2070: Business Calculus II

This course introduced multivariable calculus, including differential calculus, optimization, and multiple integrals, with examples drawn from management sciences to illustrate the concepts.


PCID 3040: Business Writing

This course focused on writing strategies for professional business communication, including memoranda, letters, reports, and proposals.
