Lantia publishing

During the spring of 2025, I completed a four-month marketing internship with Lantia Publishing in Sevilla, Spain, as part of the CEA CAPA study abroad program. Working in a hybrid model under the guidance of Marketing Director JD Romero, I contributed to projects ranging from press releases and market research to social media campaigns and author outreach. I also assisted with the Global Publishing Summit, where I prepared materials and conducted author interviews. Beyond technical skills, this experience taught me the value of adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and maintaining balance in a professional setting. Immersed in Spain’s collaborative and relationship-oriented work culture, I learned to embrace discomfort as a source of growth, gain confidence in a Spanish-speaking environment, and redefine what productivity and success mean in an international context.
