As a Clemson University Tour Guide, I had the opportunity to represent the university by leading walking tours for prospective students and their families. In this role, I introduced visitors to Clemson’s academic programs, campus resources, student life, and traditions, while also answering questions to provide a personalized and authentic perspective.  This experience strengthened my public speaking, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills, as I learned how to adapt to different audiences, manage large groups, and present information in a clear and engaging way. Being part of the Tour Guide program allowed me to make a meaningful contribution to Clemson’s outreach efforts by helping future students envision themselves as members of the Tiger family.
